Surbova bay is on the south side of the island of Krk, only 1 nmi east of the port of Stara Baska. In the bay anchoring is prohibited, because through it passes an underwater power cable to the island of Rab. You can anchor only in the extreme southeastern part, in front of a small sandy beach. The bottom is sandy and holds anchor well. The bay is protected from northern winds, the south could cause waves. In the bay there is a large sandy beach.
