Mooring or bay Tiha is on the north side of the island of Hvar, northwest of the city Starigrad. Bay has four legs where you can securely anchor the boat. At the center of the bay the depth of the sea is between 30 and 40 m, and between 3 and 15 m in each of the arms. The bottom is sandy and in parts covered with sea grass. The anchor holds well. The bay is protected from all winds except jugo. In the case of the southern wind, we recommend a berth in the port of Starigrad or anchoring in coves Maslinica, Radočin donji or Gračišče in the south of Starigrad Bay. The nearest restaurant is in a cove Zavala, a good mile away, or in the town of Starigrad.
