Sumartin is a small port on the SE part of the island of Brac. In the marina there are only two berths, which are equipped with water and electricity. There is space only for smaller boats up to 15 m. Larger boats can anchor in the western bay. There is also a petrol station. Port is protected from all winds. Locals in the port are extremely friendly, because it is rare they are visited by the nautical tourists. There are nearby shops and restaurants. During the summer season, once or twice a week, locals grill meat and they sell them at an extremely reasonable price and are of excellent taste. In Sumartin there is a small old shipyard which built wooden boats and ships.
